PCS's Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding applications. With minimal energy costs compared to scrubbers and baghouses, which require large amounts of energy to overcome the resistance to air flow. PCS's Wet Electrostatic Precipitators may also be designed with an optional scrubber section for removal of acid gases. This makes the unit the most versatile air pollution control system on the market. The PCS WESP is designed to be either a down-flow or up-flow, concentric, tube-type precipitator. The WESP uses high-intensity ionization disks mounted on a central discharge electrode. This geometry concentrates the charging field in the zone between the disc and the collection tube. This disk-in-tube geometry allows for the formation of a stable, intense, electrostatic field for particle charging. The field strength can be maintained at high levels with minimal sparking, resulting in the highest available efficiency. The greater the electrostatic field strength, the greater the particle migration velocity (velocity component towards the collection tube). Increased migration velocity achieves higher particle collection efficiency with less collection area than conventional precipitators. Less collection area means a smaller, less expensive unit.
FEATURES ◆ Wet type electrostatic precipitator is applicable to a wide range of exhaust gases. ◆ It can eliminated noxious gases such as HCL, SOX, etc... ◆ It can eliminated water soluble sticky substances. ◆ It economize the area of installation. ◆ It can minimize the loss in pressure across the system. Durability ◆ The material of the device is selected in accordance with the nature of exhaust gas. Operation ◆ WESP operates in a wide temperature range. ◆ Having no deposit of dust nor driving parts maintenance and overhauling are easy.
APPLICATION ◆ Incinerators for industrial waste. ◆ Incinerators for municipal waste. ◆ Boilers ◆ Melting furnaces ◆ De-sulfurization systems. ◆ Wood Product Industries WESP Collection Tube Shape ◆ SQUARE ◆ HEXAGONAL ◆ ROUND
